Pit Systems
JLC can offer a complete range of Pit Systems to meet your exact requirements. Because the 400Hz AC and optional 28V DC power supply is contained in an underground chamber, the minimal amount of space is taken up on the apron.

Our pit system allows us to provide ground power and other utilities in hangar enclosed environments. We have three variations of Pit System, the Pop Up Pit System, the Hatch Pit System and the Mini Pit System.
Pop Up Pit Systems
- Counterweight opening system for ease of use
- Can be fitted with 1 or 2 hoses when supplying preconditioned air
- Up to 4 x 400Hz output cables fitted with aircraft sockets can be installed
- Ventilation and heating systems available, plus sump pump
- Applied force for opening/closing does not exceed 10 kg
- System supplied part assembled to simplify installation and connection
Hatch Pit Systems
- Similar to the Pop Up System but with the control and cables accessed via a simply weather proof hatch.
- Aircraft sockets are fitted to upper part of the hatch for ease of operation
- 400Hz AC and 28V DC power can be provided
- System supplied part assembled to simplify installation and connection
Mini Pit Systems
- Idea for hanger use when space is a premium
- Aircraft sockets are fitted to upper part of the hatch for ease of operation
- 400Hz AC and 28V DC power can be provided
- The corrugated hatch surface eliminates slippage of aircraft and truck wheels
- The hatch is protected from spark formation caused by collisions with metal objects
- System supplied part assembled to simplify installation and connection

JLC Group can also fully complete new installs of all the products we offer, without the need for use of subcontractors. Not only can we supply the required parts & labour to complete new installation projects, JLC Group also has the competence to act as principal contractor on sites with full CDM capabilities.
